About Coach Alan

Alan began training at Empower Every Body Fitness in 2022 after being introduced to the gym by his parents. Growing up, he didn’t consider himself naturally athletic and believed fitness was something out of reach.
Empower’s focus on functional movement and real-world strength challenged that belief. As he built physical competence and confidence, what began as a personal breakthrough gradually became a deeper commitment. In 2025, Alan stepped into a coaching role to help others experience that same transformation.
As a coach, Alan emphasizes strong fundamentals, technical precision, and purposeful movement. He meets members where they are, helping them build skills, confidence, and trust in their bodies.
Alongside coaching, Alan is completing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, guided by the belief that physical and mental health are deeply connected. Outside the gym, he spends time with his dog, Riker, and quietly maintains his status as the world’s greatest rapper.

Alan coaches group classes, personal training, and small group sessions at Empower Every Body Fitness in Vancouver’s West Side (Point Grey / Kitsilano).
