Whether you’re new to fitness, returning after time away, or a long-time athlete, you’ll feel supported every step of the way.

Fast Track to Fitness

Learn the movements. Build your confidence. Reconnect with what your body was made to do.

Curious about CrossFit, resistance training, or functional fitness — but not sure where to start?

Fast Track to Functional Fitness is an 8-session introductory program that teaches you the key movements, skills, and confidence to train safely and effectively — whether you continue with Empower group classes or take what you’ve learned anywhere your fitness journey leads.

Each one-hour session includes one-to-one coaching, hands-on skill development, and a short workout to help you apply what you’ve learned. You’ll gain strength, mobility, and movement confidence — without pressure or judgment.

And the best part? You can bring a friend — at no extra cost. Train together, learn together, and make it more fun and motivating every step of the way.

This program is ideal for anyone looking to build a foundation for lifelong fitness.

All ages and experience levels are welcome.

What you'll learn

Over eight sessions, you’ll build strength and confidence through a variety of foundational movements — all taught safely and scaled to your level. You’ll learn how to:

  • Squat, hinge, and press with proper form

  • Use equipment like kettlebells, medicine balls, and barbells

  • Develop core skills such as rowing, deadlifting, and overhead pressing

  • Explore fun, beginner-friendly versions of CrossFit movements like wall balls, kettlebell swings, and Olympic lifts

When You Finish, You’ll Leave With:

  • A solid understanding of proper technique for major lifts and movements

  • Improved strength, endurance, and body awareness

  • The confidence to continue training — at Empower, at home, or anywhere else you choose

No experience required — your coach will meet you where you’re at and guide you every step of the way.

CrossFit Group Classes

Learn to love movement again! Reclaim the vitality of childhood as you join us in our adult-sized playground. We transform the chore of training into a fun, engaging, fulfilling game! Because this amazing, multidisciplinary approach to developing your peak athletic potential involves mastery of many technical skills.

Your new CrossFit group membership includes a one-on-one personal training session every month—your chance to refine technique, stay on track, and get personalized support for your goals.

Our CrossFit group classes are intentionally small (typically 6–12 people) so you get real coaching and personal attention in every session. And with strong class availability, it’s usually easy to book in — no need to plan your schedule weeks in advance to find a slot.

Prefer to train from home or while travelling? All Empower CrossFit group class memberships also include a Zoom option to keep your fitness consistent, wherever life takes you.

And finally, all new Empower CrossFit group class memberships include a 30-minute Zoom Nutrition Kickstart session to build the foundation you'll need to fuel training.

CrossFit Group Classes are reserved for Empower members with previous CrossFit experience or members who have built a strong foundation by completing our Empower Beginner’s Curriculum.

Zoom-Only Group Class Membership

Do you live outside Vancouver? Do you want to train from the safety and convenience of your home? Do you want to continue training while on the road for work or travelling on vacation?

Join our in-gym CrossFit Group Classes from anywhere and train along with our in-gym group classes with the guidance of one of our Empower Coaches! We will post the workout details on our blog along with suggestions on how to modify workouts to fit your equipment access and fitness level so that you can come to class prepared.

Some familiarity with CrossFit is recommended. If you are new to CrossFit, we suggest starting with a few in-person or Zoom Personal Training sessions so we can go over core movements with you.

Our Zoom subscription is charged per screen so any family, friends or neighbours who want to join you for a workout are welcome at no extra charge as long as they have completed the mandatory waivers and are sharing your screen with you.
