About Coach Joyce
Joyce first discovered CrossFit in 2021 after watching a documentary showcasing the many strong and confident women competing at the CrossFit games. From then on, she was inspired to start training in the sport and competing in local competitions, the most recent one being the 2024 Fraser Valley Throwdown where she placed 1st in the intermediate women’s division.
Joyce understands how important it is to have good role models and guidance in your fitness journey. She credits her fitness development to all of the knowledge, guidance, and support her coaches and friends have provided to her along the way.
As a coach, Joyce's goal is to provide that same support to others. From young to old, new to experienced, Joyce hopes to empower as many people as she can to become the healthiest versions of themselves.
