April 11- May 19 | 6 Weeks

Tuesdays 7:45am, Saturdays 7am & 8:15am

ErgFitness will continue for one more session at Scituate! All classes have interval training on an erg, but each has a different focus and intensity where you’ll improve your strength, cardio and endurance moving from the erg to the mat. These classes blend mobility, stretching and bodyweight exercises with rowing to help you learn proper technique for maximum efficiency and injury prevention.

Adult Spring

April 14 -May 16 | One off time slots $25ea

Spring rowing is very different from summer- it is designed for self-sufficient, experienced & patient rowers ready to get back on the water in varying early-season conditions. Use a calendar to chose & pay by time slot- it's an individual sign up but you are welcome to encourage your crew to sign up too! Rowers and coxn arrive together at the start time so all hands present can open the boathouse, rig the boats, LIFT & LAUNCH themselves, then clean & close-up after their row. Each 1.5 hour slot includes prep & clean-up and rowing time will vary based on prep and conditions. Please read all the details before signing up.

Adult Learn To Row (LTR)

Four (4) classes | 1.5hr classes

Session I: May 23- June 26 | Session II: July 6- Aug 16

Learn to Row starts on land with proper rowing technique and commands, rigging boats, plus safety at the boathouse and on the water. The next three classes are in a boat with three other rowers putting the practical into motion, with a coach as the coxswain. Classes roll through summer and then are by request in the fall and spring. Attendance is important since a boat needs four (4) rowers to go.

After completion of LTR, rowers can form new crews or join other crews if space is available, at a prorated amount for the remaining summer, or join the substitute rower list.
