Exciting Changes to Team Soul Youth Fitness: Empowering the Next Generation

At Team Soul, we believe in the power of fitness to transform lives, and we’re excited to share the latest updates to our Team Soul Youth program. We are dedicated to fostering a love for fitness, health, and wellness in our young athletes. With that in mind, we’ve made some significant changes to our program to better serve our community’s youth and help them reach their full potential.

Team Soul Youth Fitness

We are thrilled to announce that our youth program is now rebranded as Team Soul Youth Fitness. This change reflects our commitment to a comprehensive fitness experience, focusing on a balanced approach that integrates weightlifting, cardio, agility, flexibility, and functional movements.  The program is happy to welcome students between the ages of 6-12.  We are happy to make some exceptions on a case by case basis as well!

New Schedule: MWF at 4 PM

To better accommodate busy family schedules, our sessions will now be held every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 4 PM. This consistent schedule ensures that our young athletes have ample opportunity to engage in regular physical activity and build healthy habits.  Our new schedule starts on August 12, 2024!


Enhanced Program Offerings

Fitness Focus: Our revamped curriculum emphasizes overall fitness, with a balanced mix of weightlifting, cardio, agility, flexibility, and functional movements. Each session will end with a game, CrossFit-style workout, or conditioning/cardio/endurance work to keep things fun and engaging.

Private Sessions and Camps: For those who wish to focus more on weightlifting, we offer private sessions and specialized camps to hone their skills and prepare for competitions.

Weightlifting Meet Preparation: As our team collectively signs up for meets, we will shift the focus of our training to meet preparation, ensuring that our athletes are ready to perform at their best.

New Pricing Structure

We’ve updated our pricing to reflect the enhanced offerings of Team Soul Youth Fitness:

  • Team Soul Youth Membership: $165/month

  • All-Access Membership: $205/month (includes access to standard Team Soul classes and services)

  • Personal Training: $450 for 6 sessions ($75 per session), $900 for 15 sessions ($60 per session)

Additionally, we offer a $50 discount for all referrals. Spread the word and help us grow our Team Soul Youth community!


Comprehensive Curriculum Development

Our curriculum is designed to cater to the diverse needs of our young athletes, providing a well-rounded fitness experience. Here’s a sneak peek at our new program structure:

  • Functional Day: Focus on quality of life and functional movements, such as squatting, pressing, and pulling.

  • Athlete Day: Emphasis on plyometrics, gymnastics, calisthenics, conditioning, and nutrition discussions.

  • Lifting Day: Dedicated to snatch and clean & jerk variations, with sessions tailored for both beginners and advanced lifters.

Each week, we’ll cover a different nutrition topic to educate our young athletes on the importance of proper nutrition and healthy eating habits.

Skill Progressions and Fitness Tracking

To motivate and track our athletes’ progress, we’ve developed skill progressions for various exercises and will use SugarWOD to help kids monitor their achievements. This interactive approach encourages ownership and engagement in their fitness journey.

Fun and Engaging Activities

We believe that fitness should be fun! Our program incorporates games and challenges such as obstacle courses, relay races, and fitness scavenger hunts to keep things exciting and enjoyable.


Community Involvement and Events

Team Soul Youth will always have a presence at all Team Soul competitions and events, including the Soul Games. We’re also increasing our involvement in local fitness and CrossFit competitions, ensuring our young athletes can showcase their skills.

Promotion Strategies

We’re launching a comprehensive marketing campaign to promote our new program. This includes social media testimonials from parents and kids, newsletters, and open house events. We’ll also partner with local schools, sports teams, and community organizations to spread the word and offer joint events or discounts.

Family Fitness Days and Community Service

We value community and family involvement. Team Soul Youth will participate in community events like 5Ks and zoo runs, and we’ll implement a yearly community service initiative. This not only benefits the community but also helps students fulfill school service hour requirements.
