Celebrating Our 10th Year as an Academy

We reached a huge milestone this year—our 10th anniversary! This marks a decade of dedication, discipline, and success, and none of it would have been possible without the amazing CMMA family. Whether you’ve been with us from the beginning or just recently joined, we’re incredibly thankful for the community we’ve built together.

Facility Upgrades for Better Training

To continue improving your training experience, we made several upgrades to our facilities this year. At CMMA, we’re committed to providing you with the best environment to grow, and these changes reflect our ongoing dedication to your success. From more space for training to enhanced amenities, our gym continues to evolve alongside our athletes.

CMMA in the UFC

We were proud to see  CMMA athletes represent us in the UFC this year, with a record of 3-1. What makes this even more exciting is that all three wins came by finishes, including two TKOs and one submission. This speaks volumes about the talent we’re producing at CMMA, and we couldn’t be prouder of our athletes who are making waves at the highest levels of MMA.

UFC Contender Series Representation

One of our athletes also competed on the prestigious UFC Contender Series this year, showcasing the caliber of talent at CMMA and putting us even more firmly on the map as a top training academy for MMA fighters.

Professor Jorge Earns His Black Belt

A huge congratulations to Professor Jorge, who earned his black belt this year! This achievement is a testament to his dedication to the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and his passion for teaching the next generation of champions.

CMMA Kickboxing Fight Night 2 & California Submission Series

Our CMMA Kickboxing Fight Night 2 event was a resounding success. The performances by our students were nothing short of outstanding, proving once again the skill and hard work that goes into every session at CMMA.

We also held two in-house California Submission Series events, where our students had the opportunity to test their skills and showcase the results of their training.

Coach Chad & Team USA at the IMMAF Pan American Championships

Coach Chad led Team USA as the head coach for the IMMAF Pan American MMA Championships. Four CMMA students represented the United States, with Desmond Alvarado and Chase Lavelle securing Gold Medals and Rosario Romero and Stone Lavelle earning a Silver Medal. What an incredible achievement for our team!

MMA Competition Team: Impressive Record in 2024

Our MMA competition team finished the year with an impressive 37-13 record, including 25 finishes and 6 Championship titles. This speaks volumes about the hard work and dedication of our athletes and coaches. With a 3-1 UFC record, we are undeniably a force to be reckoned with.

New Faces, New Beginnings

In 2024, we welcomed some incredible new team members:

• Coach Shannon

• Aline and Erika (who bring their expertise to our programs)

• Coach Rojas, who has been instrumental in elevating our athletes’ skills

• Gisselle, who joined our front desk team and has already made a huge impact

These new additions have strengthened our team, and we’re excited to see what we can accomplish together in the years ahead.
