ABOUT Kari Ann

Kari Ann is the true back bone of NJMA. Starting martial arts as a very young child under her father Tom Brown "The Plumber" who was a pioneer MMA fighter and Instructor in the Greater Rockford area. Kari Ann has paved her own way competing in Jiu Jitsu and Boxing. Kari Ann is a passionate and thorough coach to the youth, where she mentors kids on and off the mats. In her off time Kari Ann works as a Decision Scientist for a tech company, and enjoys gaming and spending time with her Bunny Rodtang.
